Gala

Gala

Late-autumn variety

Origin: it was obtained in 1957 in New Zealand by the selectionist J. H. Kidd as a result of Kidd’s Orange Red and Golden Delicious crossing.

The fruit is medium (120-180 g), round or round-cut off-conical, bright yellow, with orange-red striped-blurred glow over most of its surface and small light under peel spots. The pulp is light yellow, dense, fragile, fine-grained and juicy. It has a perfect sour and sweet taste (8.4-8.6 points), Red Jonaprince apples have a high conte with a strong aroma.
