The given variety ripens in late October. Fuji was bred in Japan.

This fruit appeared due to the crossing of two other varieties: Delicious and Ralls Janet. The fruit belongs to winter varieties.

It is excellent for use in baking and salads. Fuji apples are round, have a red-crimson colour with a crispy pulp, sweet taste and a wonderful flavour.

Under normal conditions, this variety of apples persists for 4 months. In the refrigerator it is able to maintain its freshness and density till May.
